Clicking on those links or enabling those connections may allow the third party to collect or share data about you. If you follow a link to a third-party website or engage a third-party plugin, please note that these third parties have their own privacy policies and we do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies. We do not control these third-party websites, and we encourage you to read the privacy policy of every website you visit.

Please read this policy carefully to understand our policies and practices for collecting, processing, and storing your information. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, your choice is not to use our Website. By accessing or using this Website, you indicate that you understand, accept, and consent to the practices described in this policy. We may change this policy on one or more occasions (see Changes to Our Privacy Policy). Your continued use of this Website after we make changes indicates that you accept and consent to those changes, so please check the policy periodically for updates. We will notify you in advance of any material changes to this policy and obtain your consent to any new ways that we collect, use, and disclose your personal data.

Data We Collect About You

We collect and use several types of data from and about you, including:

  • Personal Data: Information that can reasonably be used to directly or indirectly identify you, such as your name, mailing address, email address, telephone number, Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet, username or other similar identifier, billing and account information, and any other identifier we may use to contact you (“personal data”).
  • Non-Personal Data: Information that does not directly or indirectly reveal your identity, such as demographic data, aggregated statistics, or anonymous usage information. For example, we may aggregate personal data to calculate the percentage of users accessing a specific feature on our Website. Such data does not identify any individual.
  • Technical Information: Details about your device and browsing activities, including login information, browser type and version, time zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform, or details about your internet connection, the equipment you use to access our Website, and usage patterns.
  • Interaction Data: Non-personal details about your interactions with our Website, including full Uniform Resource Locators (URLs), clickstream information to, through, and from our Website (including date and time), page response times, download errors, length of visits to specific pages, page interaction data (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs), and methods used to browse away from a page.
  • Data from Publishers’ Websites: When an end user browses a publisher’s website using our technologies, we may collect information such as the operating system, the URL of the website displaying our ads, referral URL, browser information, country, time zone, locale settings (e.g., preferred language), and IP address, to support ad delivery and performance analysis.

If we combine or connect non-personal, demographic, or technical data with personal data so that it directly or indirectly identifies an individual, we treat the combined information as personal data.

If you fail to provide personal data

Where we need to collect personal data by law, or under the terms of a contract we have with you and you do not provide that data when requested, we might not be able to perform the contract we have or are trying to enter into with you (for example, to provide you with goods or services). In this case, we may have to cancel a product or service you have with us, but we will notify you if this is the case at the time.

How We Collect Data About You

We use different methods to collect data from and about you including through:

  • Direct Interactions: You may provide information about yourself by filling out forms or corresponding with us by phone, email, or other means. This includes information you provide when you create an account, subscribe to our service, request support, participate in promotions or surveys, report issues with our Website, or engage in other activities related to the use of our Website or services.
  • Automated Technologies or Interactions: As you interact with our Website, we may automatically collect technical data about your device, browsing actions, and usage patterns as described above. We collect this data using cookies, server logs, and similar technologies (see Cookies and Automatic Data Collection Technologies). This information may include data about how ads are delivered and interacted with, helping us improve ad performance and user experience.
  • Third Parties or Publicly Available Sources: We may receive information about you from third parties, including:
    • Business partners who support our services, such as sub-contractors in technical, payment, and delivery services.
    • Advertising networks and analytics providers that assist us with ad performance and Website optimization.
    • Search information providers, credit reference agencies, data brokers, or aggregators that provide additional data for ad delivery and fraud prevention.

Cookies and Automatic Data Collection Technologies

Our Website and the publisher websites that display our advertisements may use cookies (small files placed on your device) and similar automatic data collection technologies. These technologies help us distinguish users and deliver a better and more personalized experience when browsing the internet. They also enable us to:

  • Estimate audience size and usage patterns for ads displayed on publisher websites.
  • Deliver, measure, and optimize advertisements based on factors such as location or device type.
  • Monitor and prevent fraudulent activities related to ad impressions or clicks.
  • Compile aggregated statistics, such as the popularity or effectiveness of specific advertisements.

You may refuse to accept browser cookies by activating the appropriate setting on your browser. However, if you select this setting, certain parts of our Website may become inaccessible and certain features may not work correctly. Unless you adjust your browser settings to refuse cookies, our system will issue them. For detailed information on the cookies we use and the purposes for which we use them, see our Cookie Policy.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or other regions with similar privacy laws, you have the right to manage cookies via the cookie banner that appears when you first visit our Website. This allows you to consent to or refuse the use of non-essential cookies.

Cookies on Publisher Websites

When you visit a publisher’s website displaying JuicyAds advertisements, cookies may be placed on your device by JuicyAds or our advertising partners. These cookies enable us to:

  • Deliver relevant ads based on contextual information, such as the content of the publisher’s website.
  • Measure ad performance (e.g., impressions, clicks) and optimize future ad placements.
  • Ensure compliance with publisher agreements and detect fraud.

JuicyAds does not engage in behavioral advertising and does not track your browsing behavior across multiple websites for targeting purposes.

Managing Cookies on Publisher Websites

The use of cookies on publisher websites is governed by the publisher’s own cookie policies. However, if JuicyAds sets cookies as part of its ad delivery services, you can manage your cookie preferences through browser settings or opt-out mechanisms provided in our Cookie Policy.

For users in regions like the European Economic Area (EEA) or California, you may have additional rights to control cookies through consent banners or opt-out tools displayed on publisher websites.

Web Beacons and Similar Technologies

Our Website and publisher websites displaying JuicyAds advertisements may use web beacons (small transparent images or objects, also known as clear gifs, pixel tags, and single-pixel gifs). These technologies help us and our partners:

  • Count visitors to specific pages or advertisements.
  • Compile statistics about the effectiveness of advertisements, such as how often they are viewed or clicked.
  • Verify system and server integrity to improve service reliability.

Web beacons are typically used in conjunction with cookies and do not collect personal data on their own. However, when combined with cookies, they may contribute to the data used to deliver ads or analyze performance.

Third-Party Use of Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies

Some content or applications, including advertisements on publisher websites displaying JuicyAds ads, may be served by third parties, including advertisers, ad servers, and analytics providers. These third parties may use cookies, web beacons, or similar tracking technologies to collect information about your interactions with ads or publisher websites.

JuicyAds does not engage in behavioral advertising and does not track your browsing behavior across websites for targeting purposes. However, third-party providers may collect data such as impressions, clicks, or other aggregated metrics to measure ad performance and detect fraud.

JuicyAds does not control how these third-party tracking technologies operate or how third parties may use the collected data. If you have any questions about a specific advertisement or third-party tracking practices, please contact the relevant provider directly.

For information about how to manage or opt out of cookies used in connection with JuicyAds ads, see our Cookie Policy and Your Personal Data Use Choices.

  • Legal Compliance Data: Retained for 7 years to comply with income tax laws, Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) requirements, and other legal obligations.

Under some circumstances, we may anonymize your personal data so that it can no longer be associated with you. Once anonymized, we reserve the right to use this data for any legitimate business purpose without further notice to you or consent.

If no retention period is specified, we use criteria such as the data’s purpose, sensitivity, and applicable legal requirements to determine how long it is retained.

Under certain circumstances, you have rights under data protection laws concerning your personal data. Your rights may include the following:

  • Request access to your personal data (commonly known as a “data subject access request”). This enables you to receive a copy of the personal data we hold about you and to check that we are lawfully processing it.
  • Request correction of the personal data that we hold about you. This enables you to have any incomplete or inaccurate data we hold about you corrected, though we may need to verify the accuracy of the new data you provide to us.
  • Request erasure of your personal data. This enables you to ask us to delete or remove personal data where there is no good reason for us to continue to process it. • Object to processing of your personal data where we are relying on a legitimate interest (or those of a third party) and there is something about your particular situation that makes you want to object to processing on this ground as you feel it impacts on your fundamental rights and freedoms. You also have the right to object where we are processing your personal data for direct marketing purposes. In some cases, we may demonstrate that we have compelling legitimate grounds to process your information that override your rights and freedoms.
  • Request restriction of processing your personal data. This enables you to ask us to suspend the processing of your personal data in the following scenarios: (1) if you want us to establish the data’s accuracy; (2) where our use of the data is unlawful, but you do not want us to erase it; (3) where you need us to hold the data even if we no longer require it as you need it to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; or (4) you have objected to our use of your data, but we need to verify whether we have overriding legitimate grounds to use it.
  • Request the transfer of your personal data to you or a third party. We will provide to you, or a third party you have chosen, your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format. Note that this right only applies to automated information that you initially provided consent for us to use or where we used the information to perform a contract with you.
  • Withdraw consent at any time where we are relying on consent to process your personal data. However, this will not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before you withdraw your consent. If you withdraw your consent, we might not be able to provide certain products or services to you. We will advise you if this is the case at the time you withdraw your consent.

If you wish to exercise any of the rights set out above, please contact us at privacy@juicyads.com.

You will not have to pay a fee to access your personal data (or to exercise any of the other rights). However, we may charge a reasonable fee if your request is clearly unfounded, repetitive, or excessive. Alternatively, we may refuse to honor your request in these circumstances.

We may need to request specific information from you to help us confirm your identity and ensure your right to access your personal data (or to exercise any of your other rights). This is a security measure to ensure that personal data is not disclosed to any person who has no right to receive it. We may also contact you to ask you for further information regarding your request to speed up our response.

We try to respond to all legitimate requests within one month. Occasionally it might take us longer than a month if your request is particularly complex or you have made several requests. In this case, we will let you know and keep you updated.

If you believe our data processing practices violate your rights under the GDPR, you may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in your country of residence or work.
