The YNOT Grand Prix will wave the checkered flag on its third season Jan. 15 during Internext in Las Vegas. At least three more races will take place at other adult industry tradeshows in the U.S. and Europe during 2012. In addition to competition, each of the 2012 events will include food and prizes. Launched in late 2010, the YNOT Grand Prix is the adult industry’s championship kart-racing series. Component events provide participants with an opportunity to network amidst some fairly cutthroat competition. Cunning and good-natured trash talk play as big a role as skill, but the camaraderie is priceless. “You can’t beat YNOT Grand Prix racers for sheer balls,” said YNOT Group LLC Vice President LAJ. “It’s always a lot of fun to get webmasters together and turn them loose in 45-miles-per-hour bullets with wheels. The results are anything but predictable, and we’ve seen some lasting business relationships forged at these events.” The series offers team and driver championships. Divided into groups, competitors complete a 10-minute practice session and a 10-minute qualifying session at each event. Winners of the qualifying heats face off in a final grudge match to determine the ultimate champion. The 2012 schedule includes: Las Vegas: On Jan. 15, in conjunction with Internext, racers will fly around 20’ x 1,200’ tracks designed by two former International Kart Federation racers who currently rank among the fiercely competitive Rotax Max Masters. A catered barbeque meal will be served to all participants. Barcelona: Scheduled to take place March 5, the Barcelona event, presented by 2000Charge, will occur in conjunction with The European Summit – Barcelona. Racers will have to think faster than they can drive in order to survive the most technologically advanced track in the world: 500m of asphalt riddled with chicanes, demanding curves and a Spa-Francorschamps descent. Phoenix: The Phoenix Forum-affiliated event, to be presented by JuicyAds on March 30, offers two quarter-mile-long tracks rife with challenges including multiple switchbacks. Even the straight-aways here dare drivers to surmount them. Prague: On Sept. 24, the 2000Charge-presented challenge during The European Summit – Prague promises to be every bit the pitched battle the 2011 event turned out to be. The track is almost 1km long and 6m wide, reaching 9m in the curves. The facility, one of the most impressive in Europe, is equipped with an electronic timing system and wide screens that broadcast the race live — meaning no mistake goes unnoticed. In addition to 2000Charge and Juicy Ads, YNOT Grand Prix Championship Series major sponsors include Dating Factory and PussyCash. Additional sponsors includeFN Cash, PartnerCash and RIVCash.
