The JuicyAds Guide to TES Prague

TES Prague is right around the corner and JuicyAds is thrilled to be a returning sponsor!

Before You Go

• This year’s TES is about a month earlier than normal, so it will likely be warm during the day. Temps can drop quickly at night, especially if it rains. You’ll want to pack for summer days and a light jacket for evenings. Attire is generally casual during the show, but you’ll likely be attending dinners or special events that require something dressier so pack accordingly.
• Currency in Prague is the CZ crown. You can get currency in advance from your bank, an airport exchange or an ATM while in Prague. You’ll definitely want some walking around crowns.

Early Arrivals

If you’re getting into Prague on Saturday or Sunday, there’s no airport shuttle through TES, so your best bet is to grab an Uber or taxi to the Vienna House Diplomat Hotel. As so many attendees are headed to the show on the same days, you can often hook up with other participants from your flight and share a ride. August 21

4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. MojoHost Early Bird Happy Hour

Before every TES Prague conference our friends at MojoHost welcome everyone to the city with the Early Bird Happy Hour from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on the rooftop terrace (or loft in the event of bad weather.) This is a great opportunity to get some networking in before the show starts.

Pro Tip: If you’re arriving from different time zones, try to adapt to local time (GMT+2) the first night by avoiding naps and setting your sleep schedule tonight.

August 22

Pro Tip: This morning is the perfect time to get in some sightseeing before the conference kicks off with the Meet Market at 3:30. Check out Old Town and the famous Astronomical Clock, cross the Charles Bridge, or visit Prague Castle while you have the time and energy!

August 23

August 24

Pro Tip: If you’re flying home in the morning, limit your drinking. No one likes to fly with a hangover.

August 25

Airport Shuttle Busses

TES is providing shuttle busses to the airport today, starting at 4:00 a.m. Check the schedule for details.

COVID Testing

TES is offering a COVID testing center from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. August 23-24th. Whether you need a test to fly home or just want to ensure you’re negative, stop by for an Antigen or PCR test during these hours.

Panels

Check out the TES schedule for dates and times of speakers and panels going on. Over 3 days, more than 50 speakers will be sharing knowledge and advice to attendees. It’s best to map out the presentations that interest you in advance and set a reminder to attend.

Follow-ups

Lately, I’ve noticed that people are starting their after-show follow-ups while the show is still going on. By doing this, you run the risk of getting lost in the clutter. I suggest giving your connections a few days to get back in the office before you reach out. You will have less clutter to compete with.
